You can expect a continental breakfast made fresh each morning and a fan to keep cool in the evenings.  We will help you coordinate travel to our many local interests.  We strive to provide a comfortable, discreet atmosphere to launch your Jamaican adventure!

You can expect a comfortable place to rest.  Our rooms are concrete sided structures built on top of a unique natural shoreline rock formation.  It's a 30+ feet above sea level plateau which provides a spectacular view of the north eastern shoreline of Jamaica.  Our primary structures have weathered many Hurricanes with no damage.

Beaches

Blue Heaven guests can use the private natural beach.  This unique small coral rock cove inlet natural beach is protected by a naturally formed wave break wall and coral island. The island is ideal for snorkeling and sea life.

In addition to in-room restroom facilities we also have a public facility for quick rinses between dips in the ocean.  You do not have to drag the sand into your room!  We do not supply beach towels, so please remember to bring your own beach towels.

Island Travel

You can expect that travel around Jamaica can be an expensive part of a Jamaican holiday.  You can prearrange for a rental car at the airport and travel yourself (British style). Or you can prearrange for us to send a driver to pick you up at the airport.  Our Airlines & Travel page has many more resources and information for booking your trip.

I wish I could tell you it's cheaper to rent or to hire drivers, but that depends on how many and which trips you choose to take during your stay.  If you decide to stay for 2 weeks and spend half of it on the beach, then it would be cheaper to be picked-up and have us arrange your travel as needed.  If you will be out and about seeing sites (and you can handle 3rd world British driving), then renting is for you.  Definitely opt-in for insurance if you rent.

When hiring a driver in Jamaica it is customary to tip good drivers as it is in most places.  You need to decide what that means to you and let him know.  If you want to know everything about everything you pass, let him know.  If you want a quiet peaceful ride, let him know.  If you make many impromptu stops then you should bump up the tip if he obliges politely.  At the end of the ride, you decide how well he did.

Tipping is not required, but is customarily 10-20% of the services rendered.  It is always a good idea to confirm the exact price of the trip ahead of departure.
